Meet Catherine

Catherine Gordon is founder and Principal Consultant of Catherine Gordon’s Institute of Finishing Elements (formerly Catherine Gordon & Associates Image Design®) the only Finishing School in the Southern Caribbean. The Institute specializes in teaching children, teenagers and adults social and business etiquette and leadership skills, personal grooming and deportment through her Manners Maketh Me™, Designed for Greatness™, Dare to Shine™ and other personal development programmes which aim to reintroduce the values of common courtesy and graciousness in civil society while helping individuals and corporations achieve a consistent message of success, credibility and reliability. Her vacation etiquette camps for children are widely sought after.
With over 23 years operational and strategic experience in human resources development, she has presented her seminars in personal poise, professional presence and world of work preparation since 1994 to schools, individuals and groups in both the private and public sectors and lists several Government Ministries and departments among her clients. For over ten years she has been a visiting resource for the University of the West Indies Alumni Association (St. Augustine Campus) annual “World of Work” seminars for final-year students. Catherine Gordon is an Honours graduate in International Relations from the University of the West Indies, a Certified Image Consultant with the London Image Institute, Georgia, USA and is also trained and certified by the Protocol School of Washington, USA to teach its curriculum in Corporate Etiquette and International Protocol throughout the Caribbean. She has been featured and quoted on several occasions in the local print and electronic media and is a regular radio talk-show guest.
